I paid a couple of visits to the 78's shop in Stockport [80's maybe?]. He didn't have the Jazz disc I was after but I bought some other items, nice chap! In mid-sixties Manchester, there was also a specialist 78's shop behind the Long Bar [0pp M+S and where Sinclairs Oyster Bar resided [before it's re-location by the Cathedral]. It was in Cromford Court an enclosed yard with a few shops but you had to walk right round the block to access it by a narrow entrance. The whole area became the Arndale Centre

I recall the Stockport Air Crash in 1966. It seemed amazing that the Pilots got it down into that small space and was a big shock for the City
