Default Re: Textstuff - Bad news for buyers?

Must agree with Superscope. I have bought and recycled more stuff than 99.999% of people, but when my father in law died three large skips of stuff were dumped. I took a little, but the push bikes, golf, fishing, photographic and even MiL tapestries were of no interest to the rest of the family. I even rescued my 1 yard straight edge used to trim some carpet to freshen the house up, that really did annoy.

At least this organisation looks at everything before binning, skip people don't even do that.

My observation is that he is the end of the hoarder generation, in a few years the people who die simply won't have old TVs and similar. Then all the clearance dealers and the associated glory hole shops will all go, since no new stock for them. Will we regret it? No idea, I will be long dead.
