At the risk of going too far OT, I have indeed re-purposed several such cells and they can be excellent in high drain applications when properly managed. However they can pack a 35 amp punch, so need to be fused, and the charging regimen is critical to avoid danger. I wouldn’t personally use them in a low-drain application, although their self-discharge rate is very low.
