In response to this https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...d.php?t=178726 thread, and not wanting to hijack it I put forward the delights of the Bitscope Micro http://www.bitscope.com/product/BS05/ . At about a ton (£100) a lovely thing for the desktop when the workshop is a bit too far away. Good for portable use too, OK it isn't the best 'scope, logic analyser or signal generator out there, but it is in one small package and with quite useable software.

I have one at work (OK I bought two, one is at work!) great tinkering thing.
