Well I have 4 here and 20 in storage... is that enough?

I don't know how practical it would be to open up the design to other PROM chips, I know that programming specs vary wildly for different devices and I'm stretching the number of IO lines I'm using, so a more versatile device would require a bigger ATMEGA....
