Here are some pictures of a DEIL Canadian R103 I repaired for a friend about 30 years ago or maybe more. They were taken originally on a film camera. It worked pretty well on its Loctal valves.It's a bit scruffy but does show the inside. I never had a circuit and can't remember whether it was 6 or 12 volt. I opened the vibrator up, cleaned the contacts and it worked ok. A few resistors and the minimum number of capacitors and away it went.
Very easy to align.

The owner fitted it into a large Woodie wartime car. I don't think I ever saw the aerial he used.
