Default Object Identification: WWII Aircraft?

From their lightness and appearance, and that they were with some Eclipse-Pioneer and Bendix fuel and oil pressure transmitters and a dynamotor, I guess these have something to do with WWII aircraft. Does anyone know what they are?

There are two motors and a gearbox affair with carefully laced-down screws. The other gearbox appears to have holes at one end for bushes, so perhaps a motor. The toothed wheel is driven by a worm gear from the shaft, I deduce from its turns ratio per rotation of the shaft. That one's heavy, so probably industrial rather than aviation, but its cast base with three (one snapped) spread legs is unusual.
