This is an interesting one - at first glance from the pin side, the plug looks to be based on the shape of the MK bs546 standard plug, but unlike the MK has only one screw securing the cover and has split pins.

I do not think the logo on the cover is Britmac however, as all the older Britmac stuff I’ve come across has a diamond shaped logo.

I initially thought maybe Bulgin or BG, but a quick Google search negates that theory too....

I’d be very interested to see how this thread develops, and can only presume it must be a smaller manufacturer, UK based, prevalent in the 1950s, possibly regionally based some way away from the southwest !

Another thought, unlikely I guess, but could the ‘B’ be an ‘8’ maybe?
