Default Re: Looking for info on Telonic 1232A Sweep Generator

Thanks once again Bill. I gave it a quick test before packaging it up again for placing under the tree (kids are keen to make sure I'm not left out around Christmas!) I'll have a proper look later, but I noticed a few things during that quick test.

Firstly, I didn't see a vertical output jack (see attached image). Then I couldn't find a way to reduce the sweep width to zero and I'm not sure this is possible (i.e., make it produce a steady sine wave). Lastly, even at the lower range (20mhz) the signal on the scope (taken from the RF Output jack) wasn't quite what I was expecting. It seemed a little jittery and I wasn't sure if that was a triggering issue or some other operator error. These are the kind of issues that a quick glance at a user guide would shed some light on.
