Re: Looking for info on Telonic 1232A Sweep Generator
Telonic 1204 - 1234 manual.
The manual which I got from them I think in 1996 contains the specification as section1 and then Section 6, with board layouts, parts lists and circuit diagrams.
No functional description, though it seems fairly straightforward to understand.
I'll let you have a copy if you send your email address.
This instrument is extraordinarily similar to the Wavetek 2000 or 2001 Sweepers, for which the manual does include Operating instructions, Circuit Description and Maintenance. A machine which suffers from short circuited tantalum decoupling capacitors. Mine always seems to need another one replacing.
I know, I must do them all, but it is a laborious job opening up all the separate screened modules. So I have lazily just done the faulty one and got on with the main alignment tasks for which I was intending to use it. That manual is too large to post on the forum, but I could scan it for you onto a CD at nominal cost and post (mail) it if you want it. wme_bill m0wpn
