I had one of those, passed it on to a forum member years ago.

Bad points: The audio in LP was pretty dire.
The lack of a locked picture search (i.e. you have to keep the fast wind button pressed) was irritating.

What they have in their favour is that they're extremely well -made and the functions have a nice positive response, i.e. a click/clunk! Removing the cassette basket is a doddle too. Quite versatile input switching. I think there's another video-in on the camera socket you can connect a second device to if you have the pinout. You can even insert-edit picture over audio, but very crudely!
