I have a soft spot for post war battery portables and have coveted this model in the past.

Due to my many distractions I recently missed one on Ebay.

But no worries a lot of the enjoyment in this hobby is the hunt

And after all in the end its pretty much the same as any other 4 Valve 50's portable.

No idea why I like then so much possibly a guilt trip for the number I dispatched in my teens

And I have enough to keep me busy for decades already .

So I will keep half an eye open
