Thank you Joc for posting this update on such a well written and historically important record of Philips by Pieter Hooijamans. The insight to and impact of Philips in the world of inventions is amongst the best and Europe should be proud.

I wonder if a history of GEC Hirst Research and the company generally would be possible given its importance in the UK. RCA in America must also be a candidate but for for one thing, Pieter's skill in making such a readable document will be a hard act to follow.
