Thank you so much for the speedy response on the CRT type. Your input has saved me from making a fool of myself.

The Radio Museum spec says: Monitor mit 47cm Bilddiagonale (90°-Ablenkung). Ah, good I thought. Same as my KV1800 which needs a new tube.

The Sony 1820, of which I have one, is a 114 degree CRT.

I did think that the channel change was not right but given the CVM1350 uses the original 13" 330AB22 which is 90 degrees, I had hoped I was on to something!

Although I won't be buying this for the reason given, I/we now know who has a service manual!
