I think that any "IF alignment aid" worth building should cover all the possibilities from 455 to 10.7 (I cannot recall what the TV's use), which the Haigh design does. Those coils are out of production, but that's an obstacle rather than a show-stopper. In any case, my recollection is that a Goggle search for wobbulator designs will bring back numerous hits, quite a few of which show some "resemblances" to Haigh's design .
