Removing DAC90A Knobs

I was trying to replace one one of the knobs on my Cream DAC 90A. It seems awfully firm and I really did not want to force it. Is there any secret to removing these? ???

Look underneath the cabinet there are holes where you can access the grub screws.

Re: DAC 90A Knobs

Cream sets were made with all three styles of DAC90A knobs, but I'm suspecting the knobs here are of the final, push-on type, with perspex backing disc. In that case it's down to injecting WD40 (or your preferred lubricant) through the relevant cabinet hole to where the knob meets the spindle, waiting a while, then wrapping a thin cloth behind the knob and pulling...

Paul,

Thanks for that. It is that model and I want to change the perspex backing disc.
