already tested with good results
I'm using mixture of PVC cleaner (acetone based) + IPA

A Sharpie brand black marker or India ink work well too. They are asphalt based I am given to understand.
Both worked fine for me, and a Sharpie marker, fine point ot extra fine is only around a buck.
