Coils designated RP117xxx???
I have 3 of these and would like to know what their original use was? They are similar in size and construction to the Wearite P types but only have 3 terminals and no clamp bar. There is an adjustable core, the screw is tensioned by a spring clamp. No means for fixing to a chassis so I am guessing they would be wired in place. My guess is oscillator coils of some sort but would like to know if anyone has information on who made them and what frequency range they were designed to cover. The numbers on them are RP112383, RP117680 and RP117762.
Thanks for taking the time to look. |

Re: Coils designated RP117xxx???
Are the RP numbers the only designation, or are there things like date codes present?
Chances are I wouldn't recognise them anyway, but in general a picture says more than a thousand words. |

Thanks for the reminder I am busy on an Open University Assignment at the moment but will add some photographs Thursday!
