The Paint I Use For Respraying Roberts Badges

Roberts radios from the late '50's to the early '70's use a plastic badge that was painted silver. Over time the paint sheds to reveal the yellow plastic of the badge.

I respray the logos with 'Painter's Touch' in metallic silver. You don't need a great deal of paint as you don't want the crevices of the badge to fill with paint.

I've done this with a Roberts R500 and R700. I am happy with the results!

This paint is available at your local Wilco but check out Wilco's own brand, it is half the price. Been in recently for some paint to redo the front of my new French set.
