Swapmeet / garage sale in Cornwall ?
 

Hi all, I am thinking of have a meetup maybe one evening or probably better a Sunday morning at my warehouse unit in mid Cornwall, plenty of parking and space to rummage.

Mods please move if inappropriate however, another member has posted similar so hopefully OK.

I have some tv sets, radio's and all sorts that need to go, some will be free, cheap or the odd item if I paid a decent sum will be at what it cost me.

If a few members are interested and want to bring some of their junk and have a meetup and a fiddle on the bench, not just to go through my junk then get in touch. It won't be on the scale of the world famous Mikey405's annual do though !

tea and coffee etc and possibly SWMBO will bake a cake !, possibly a pub lunch after ?

This by any chance close to the convergence of the A30 and A38 (Bodmin)

Like to try but life has been hectic for me the last 2 tyears I can Drop SWMBO off at her Mums on the way :thumbsup: that might make it possible,

Hi Mike yes about 15 mins max, we actually live just round the corner from that junction but most of my gear is at work so don't really need to be lugging it back home !

Hi Stephen yes I think Sunday, if you can get up it would be great to see you as its been a while - been flat out and no bench work for a while with us moving and doing up the house !. If you can put the word about there are a few members down your end that might not see the posts ?

Hi Simon yes I will gauge interest, I did try before but it fizzled out, as its a bit "dry" down this way I though maybe a little get together would be a good idea. Like I said to Freya if you can put the word about....

Hiya all - looking like Sunday 18th August the weekend before the bank holiday so hopefully not so busy ! just hope we can get half a dozen plus of us like minded souls together...

Depending on the date I’ve got some amateur radio type stuff I could bring along if there was any interest along with a McMichael woody which is working but I no longer have the room

Yes I'd be interested! Could be dangerous, I'm trying to dispose of stuff rather than collecting more, but easily tempted :)
