Re: Battery case links and scans.
The Small Battery Company sells new PP4s, but make sure you're sat down before looking at the price. 8-o
As for making one I suppose it depends on how much current the host device needs. Three lots of lithium buttons in parallel would be my starting point. Poundland's solar garden lights have tiny 40mAh rechargeable cells so seven of those would give 8.4V. |
Re: Battery case links and scans.
Pity, they state the price but conveniently forget to mention the mAh capacity! At the risk of going off topic, I’d guess that three parallel groups of three CR2025s in series would give about 450mAh, more if CR2032s would fit into the available space. Still, the price is perhaps understandable if good quality cells are being fitted. A high price to pay for originality though!

Re: Battery case links and scans.
I just cut the can off a new PP3 and used the snaps from a PP9 that had been used up in a TR82.
It worked for me. |

B103. It's in several parts as it's far too big to print on a single sheet of A4 paper.

Re: Old HT and LT batteries, what to keep?

For reference I have attached scans of the (unfolded) cardboard casings of the 2 batteries. I assume they are well-know versions and that it is not worth trying to clean up the scans as they are already on the web.
I'll keep the cardboard at least for the moment though. |

Re: Battery case links and scans.
That's the same AD35 version as the one I have, but I think my B126 is a newer type. But it's also the one I remember getting many years ago and I am sure somebody has already scanned it (one in rather better condition than mine).

Each face is a separate image to enable printing on A4 paper. |
Re: Battery case links and scans.
Since posting some of my contributions I have made improvements to them based on increasing knowledge. Obviously I can't up-date what I have already posted but the new versions can be found here: https://joefreeman.weebly.com/old-battery-labels.html.

Re: Battery case links and scans.
Would anybody have a good Scan of the Ever Ready 126 ?
That's the 4.5 Volt 126 Not the B126 which is 90 Volt There are Photos on line, so I can probably make a reasonable replica if push comes to shove. A Scan would be better though, if one is available. I looked through this Thread, but didn't find a 126. Ian |

Have a look at this thread.

Re: Battery case links and scans.
Thanks Dave,
I did actually find that Thread, but the attached image is a little low Res for a Good Print out. I'll PM "Restoration73" directly and see if a better Rez one is available. Ian |
Re: Battery case links and scans.
The problem is the forum software resizing of images if they're not embedded in either a PDF or ZIP file.
