Mystery switch

Can anyone please identify this switch for me, its likely purpose and so on. It's momentary and I think it's telephone -related. Thankyou.

Re: Mystery switch
It is telephony related. It's a single pole double throw micro switch.
The common version was Switch 5A/3 which was used in 706 telephones and possibly others. I assume the /4 variant fits another type of telephone. Soeone on here will know. |

Re: Mystery switch
It's for a 746, probably a recall button — or rather the switch with which the button engages.
See page 3 of this: http://www.samhallas.co.uk/repositor.../0000/N848.pdf |
Re: Mystery switch
It looks like a standard V3 microswitch with a custom actuator.

Re: Mystery switch
Thanks everyone. I uncovered one still in place in an old 746 - appears to be used as a recall button.

Re: Mystery switch
Depends on the BUTTON- it can be a recall (non locking ) or bell off ( locking ) as the wish desires.
