A huge thanks to Forum members David Taylor (G4EBT) and Paula (frsimen) for providing help and support during the restoration of a troublesome Bush DAC90A.

I'm sure David won't mind if I give Paula a special mention for her patience, perseverance and technical knowledge in guiding me through several layers of problems to finally arrive at a successful outcome.

I would like to say a huge "Thank You" to Graham (SunSPARC) for his kind gift of a Tektronix 465. I have been after one of these oscilloscopes since I can't remember when and, now, I have one - or will have very soon - it's in transit as I write.

I'm looking forward to giving it a good old fettle (what's in a name eh?:-D) and then enjoying seeing it shining away on the bench in use for many years to come.

Lovely!

Steve.

Oh, that's good. Scopes greatly aid understanding. Besides, something with a control panel like a 465 impresses the hell out of visitors :-)

Just wanted to say thanks to Electronpusher0 who sent me a surplus AVO movement which I was able to modify and use to repair my AVO Two Part Tester. The result is that I now have a properly working instrument! Much appreciated!

Many thanks to chris55000 for using the black arts of pcb design to replicate my brc power regulator boards in nice heatproof FR4, not only that but loaning me a sweep generator and sundry other test equipment to align an i.f strip, plus selling me the marconi 2018 signal generator, just got to fix it, (should be fun).
Greg.

A big thanks to Chris55000 for the Tektronix 545A and 465 oscilloscopes (and to his pal Steve for transporting both Chris and 'scopes). My decades long quest to get a big valved Tek finally answered:)

I would also like to thank Chriss55000 for dropping off the 465B scope he sold me while he and his friend Steve were on their way up to Jez1234 to drop off those scopes. Very much appreciated- thanks so much fellas. My restoration project will be posted on here soon.

May Chris' floorboards no longer creak under the weight of the scopes he still has! :-D

Also thanks to Electronpusher0 for offering FOC an audio frequency analyser, sadly on this occasion I couldn't take him up on the offer, but it was very much appreciated.
