Murphy A172R radiogram spotted in Didcot charity shop

Saw this in the Helen & Douglas House charity shop today sitting with all the furniture. Not priced yet and the guy serving didn't know what the boss's plans for it were. But might be worth asking if anyone's particularly interested esp. as it may well fail the obligatory PAT test etc.

Seems like a nice model (push-pull output, dual 10" and 8" speakers), £87 18/6 +PT in 1950.

It's in fair condition though the finish is a bit tatty in places and the RC72 has been replaced with an SP25 (I think).

Nick.

If anyone is interested, it may be worth contacting them and offering to buy it "for the parts". You may need to sign a document stating that you are buying it on that basis.
