Wythall radio rally

Just a reminder to those in the midlands (or even the determined from afar): Wythall radio rally is this coming Sunday (17th March).

Plenty of component vendors attend this rally, along with those bearing expensive boxes that require a license :)

Good morning,
I am thinking of attending this year. I went last year and picked up some good vintage components.

I also hope to be going, been there for the last few years. Always been good and probably the largest remaining rally I go to.
All under cover as well.

I will be going, a good rally. I even had a stall there one year to get rid some stuff that would come in handy one day, I sold most of the stuff but unfortunately the volume of bits purchased almost equalled the volume I sold.

Hi Peter,

The 'Junction 28' South Normanton and district amateur radio club (SNADARC) rally is pretty substantive. It's in June and well worth a visit if you haven't been before.

I attend as part of the NBTVA publicity team :)

Hi Karen,

J28 has been on my “always attend” list for some years now and I agree it is well worth a visit. If you see me say hello and I’ll do the same.

I will probably visit the Wythall rally. I mustn't buy too much, as I am supposed to be getting rid of stuff I will never use.

The Wythall rally is well worth a visit, I used to have a table there and nearly

always cleared everything.....................

Well, it started out in bright sunshine but turned to hail, then to rain which almost had my car stuck in mud on the field.

I looked out for you Peter, but with so many people and so much to look at it's not really surprising that I missed you. I bumped into Christopher.

As always, I came away with some nice goodies, including a 1970s Intel 8080 microprocessor trainer.

I was also there today, got a better set of knobs for my Bush sug26 also plenty of capacitors and some switches for the hedghog converter.
Had a chat with a few folks, drank tea. was a good day and I avoided the hail :)

Yes I’m sorry that I did not spot you either, the trouble is we tend to keep our eyes peeled for bargains rather than people! Goodness knows how many people I’ve accidentally ignored at rallies in the past. :-/
