Miniature Crimp RF Connectors / Leads
2 Attachment(s)
Hi all,
Does anyone know where the small crimp-on RF connectors are available from, the type used inside the older amateur HF transceivers for inter-board connections? I need to make up a m-m or m-f lead long enough to extend an existing internal coax so I can start working on repairing a friend's rig. Thanks Martin G4NCE |

Hi Martin,
I think this may be what you are after. https://shop.technofix.uk/connectors...ki-tmp-k01x-a1 Richard |
Re: Miniature Crimp RF Connectors / Leads
Excellent. Thanks Richard. I will get an order off to Technofix for a male and female connector later today.
Just my luck - although this radio wasn’t with me then, two weeks ago I drove through Abergele! Thanks again. Martin G4NCE |

Now I know what they are called, thanks to Richard, I see they are also available on eBay. I obviously wasn't using the right words...!

Re: Miniature Crimp RF Connectors / Leads
I could not have told you the name if them, but on seeing the photo of them, it sparked my memory and remembered seeing them a while back in technofix.
Yaesu & trio/Kenwood gear is full of them. |

Motorola MC-Micro was my recollection of them...
And I might have some in an FT-70G. |

Also used in the Drake R8 range. Very hard to come by new (well, here at least), I ended up buying a rusty cruddy old ICOM HF rig just to get the cables to use for alignment work.
