Codar AT5 group

Just a heads-up to let any owners of the vintage AT5 AM/CW 160/80m amateur radio transmitter know that there is a facebook group for us.

It's been around for a few years, but don't think it publicised itself much when it launched and still doesn't have much traffic.

Oh, OK. It works for me, but maybe that's because I'm a member. In that case just search "Codar AT5" in the facebook top left search box.

Sorry Ian, I eventually got the page by logging into facebook first.

Ah, the AT5. I had one (complete with PSU) back in the early 70's. It was er..taken off me by the Men from the Ministry when (in an emergency) I pressed it into service on the MW band one Sunday morning.

Oh yes, they had a reputation for alternative uses on a Sunday morning.

Ray's Radio Workshop Youtube channel has a video devoted to the AT5, and he also has videos devoted to those other 'Sunday Morning' exploits from the distant past - plus a few radio-related ghost stories...
