Turntable repair / service in Northeast England

Hi,
Hopefully I'm posting this in the correct place. I'm having trouble finding someone in Tyneside area who can repair / Service a vintage Thorens TD160b MK11. Recently purchased this deck but the right channel is constantly dropping out.
I'm not able to sort this myself and would prefer to hand this over to someone with the appropriate confidence and skill. I've opened up the underneath of the deck and can see a crude attempt at rewiring from the tonearm solder tag strip to the upgraded audio leads. I'm assuming this may be the issue but I'm not sure.
Would anyone be interested in taking a look at the deck or guiding me towards a competent repairer.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Tony

This guy services decks, including the TD160. Not particularly cheap.

I will be visiting the NE in the next few weeks and could come over to sort out your turntable.

Hi Tony
Sorry, i did not complete the pm earlier, got distracted
In any case it seems Michael will be in your area so his help would probably be quicker/more straightforward for you.

Best Regards
Chris

Hi Tony, you should have had a PM from me. Note that you have very limited access to PM's until you have more posts
