Radios, TVs, Test Gear and other stuff in Axminster

Hi all.

I wasn't really sure where to put this but as it's a big mixture of stuff with no particular fixed prices then I thought I'd stick it here.

I was contacted a few weeks ago by a chap from Axminster (about 30 miles from Exeter) whose uncle had just died and who needed to clear out the caravan and barn where he lived.

There is a mixture of radios, televisions, military stuff, test equipment, record players etc. However, before anyone gets too excited, an awful lot of it is buried in amongst rubbish and is well past repair but may well be suitable for spares etc. There are some interesting odds and ends like an old Russian scope which looks in nice condition, a Bush TV125 Television, Bush DAC90 and DAC90A radios, a couple of military receivers and other bits and pieces.

I've uploaded the pictures to the location below but if you're interested in anything, let me know by PM and I will pass on the chap's phone number. I think the chap is open to suggestions on price.

Many thanks all.

Kind regards.

From Mike.

I hope someone rescues the Indesit large screen mono. I can't imagine that there are any others left now!

I remeber those Indesit 24" TV's.

We had a good few out on rental.

You had to pick them up square on, or else the cabinet twisted and creaked and the back cover "pinged" off by itself as it was only held on by plastic push clips that were very easily broken.

I have to say, they were quite reliable compared to all of the other hybrid TV's we were renting. They had very few stock faults.

One of the few TV's we must of made money on...

I'm really tempted, but the sheer distance makes salvaging the few items I fancy a ridiculous proposition.

Such a shame.

I am going there next week.

If, and its a big "if", I dont fill the car with things I want, I am happy to collect items for other members, and bring them back here to Poole.
However, please note that I have very limited storage space so they must be collected or arrangements made for transport, very quickly.

(Perhaps collection from the Flight Refuelling Hamfest?)
