I think I've got a mental age of six-and-two-thirds, does that count?

All the world is a toyshop!

Judging by some of the things I have bought, I think that may be older than me.
Watching the bidders at auctions, I wonder if they realise how obvious they are, I would love to play poker with some of them.
Lets see how today's auction goes and how Chas is afterwards, I think there will be a post mortem, or a Spanish Inquisition.

At the age of 18, I was recruited by the NHS as a trainee electrical and electronics engineer. I soon realised that I and many like me had been recruited to replace their ageing senior engineers, who had largely come from the Navy and understood steam boilers, diesel generators, medical gases, pumps, drains, refrigeration and all manner of mechanical and electrical kit. Fortunately I found this stuff more interesting than mere electrical engineering, and stuck with it for 42 years!
