On behalf of the Broadcast Television Technology Trust I would like to thank all those forum members who have helped the MCR21 project. There are too many too name and there is always the possibility that my memory would embarrass me by forgetting someone.
We will have a demo table at Retrotech ( #36) please come by and say hello. Our BBC OB van is looking splendid on the outside, but much still to do on the inside. One of our regular volunteers has created a number of videos which can be viewed on our YouTube page (search for MCR21) |

Re: The Thanks Thread
My very grateful thanks to Member WaveyDipole who very generously donated me three Tektronix 468 PCB assemblies to help me repair the '468 I imported from America that turned out to have a fatal self–test failure, caused by an internal short–circuit within the original TRW1007PC Video DAC dragging the +5 V to about 4.1 V, resulting in failure!
I have fitted the replacement Graphics panel and the supply line is now OK – there are still other analogue faults to look at, but I've got a carcass with a spare A15 Interface Board for these! You are a Star, Sir! Chris Williams |
