9TAHC cartridge query

Hi,
I am trying to wire up a 9ta hc cartridge to a bush that has red, blue, yellow and black wires, can someone tell me which wires go where?
also must they be soldered or should they plug in?
all advice welcome

Re: 9TAHC cartridge query

As far as I can remember there was a round nylon plug which pushed into the rear of the cartridge, red and black one channel, blue yellow the other. Could be wrong, long time ago!!!

Hopefully the attached images will help. The usual colour code convention is:

Red - Right Signal
Green - Right Ground
White - Left Signal
Blue - Left Ground

Probably best to trace your wiring back to the input of the amplifier to be absolutely sure of the correct connections although buzz testing might help. The small plug should be removed from the main body before carefully soldering the wires to the appropriate tabs.
