DATE CHANGE - BVWS Summer 2020 Royal Wootton Bassett

Due to unforeseen circumstances Mike has had to change the date of the July 2020 RWB meeting and auction.

The new date is 28th June 2020 which is one week earlier than the advertised date.

We will ensure this is widely publicised to members.

I am very disappointed to hear of this date change. It now clashes with the very large and nearby Newbury radio rally www.nadars.org.uk/rally.asp

This means that the attendance at RWB will inevitably be reduced as people choose which event they will attend.

I do appreciate the problems of choosing event dates, often well in advance, as I have been involved with this for the BATC but I do feel that this is a particularly unfortunate date clash.

For information the Newbury Rally tends to start early and is 24 miles away from RWBs so it would be possible to do a quick visit to Newbury and then attend the Auction.

That’s a big shame at the clash of date ,unfortunately I will favour the Rally as I normally incorporate it with seeing family in the afternoon. I believe that at least one stall holder at the BVWS normally has a stall at Newbury . Maybe I can attend a BVWS I don’t normally attend to make up for it Andy

I shall be sorry to miss this one, but there are two vintage car events that day which I really want to go to - it's going to be a difficult decision either way!
