AVO CT 160 digital panel current meter
Mikko hey. I'd like to try the digital panel meter through the front panel A1 and A2 anode connectors. How big resistor I have to put in to avoid the overvoltage relays going on. With an analog panel gauge, this works great. But I would like a digital one.

Hi Mikko, for initial tests it would be as well to use a separate battery powered DVM.
Drawing DVM meter supplies from mains or the tester itself is full of dangers due to possible common mode problems. Note that this can also be a problem if you take a digital output to a computer for data logging/ curve tracing. Ed |

Thanks. The purpose would be to use a link power meter with its own 5v battery. What size would it be good to put in the resistance that the measurement would remain true?
