Odd Telecom fuses?

1 Attachment(s)
I found these fuses in a test meter that was owned by my late brother, he was a Telecoms Officer on the London Underground.
They are strange to me but probably well know to members here, the closest I can find them is inside a picture of a GEC box.
Two are marked 1/1.5 KBA Rated 1.5 Amp.
The other three are marked Dummy No.1 SFC

No use to me, I expect they are not rare so will dump unless anyone wants them?

They are quite long. Perhaps they are high voltage typed for equipment to measure live rail voltages.

Yep, perhaps. Nearest I ever found are here in the pic of a GEC box.
The end caps are slightly pointed as if to fit into a sprung contact.

the dummies speak for themselves the others are standard fuses as used in suscriber protection unit . this would include carbons and an earth

I was given a 'Protector, Heat Coil and Fuse' as in the above photo last year. Mine still had the heat coils, but the carbon spark gaps had been removed and the fuses replaced with dummies. The dummies in mine was just flat metal strips with shaped ends to fit into the spring contacts. I've attached a photo of the insides of it.

If nobody else has a need for them I could add the fuses to my collection to go in that unit (which I will never use on a 'real' telephone line of course).

You are welcome to them Tony, please PM your address.
Also have a Robin 314413, Tester SA9083 Mk.18 if you want it.
Can't test it but the LED lights and passes basic tests, Yellow carry case shows signs of much usage though.
FOC of course.
