AKAI 1710 switch
 
I have an akai1710 and the track selection switch is not working sticking I have looked for a new one but there are a few different types on on on on off on etc can any one tell me exactly what type I need to get please .thank you. I have tried switch cleaned but it has gone worse for some reason

Although there are 8 contacts they are wired effectively as 2 pole changeover centre off.

As this will be virtually unobtainable, I suggest unsoldering carefully and disassembling.
The switch can be cleaned, lubricated, and reassembled.

In the case of heavy tarnishing you may need to polish the switch contacts, and the
moving contacts may need to be retensioned. Many slide switches incorporate a spring
and a steel ball, after cleaning use a clear grease. WD40 is to be avoided.

I would only consider replacing the switch if the lever was broken, Note I have a 1710 here and can say the switch is a bit stiff anyway.
