Interesting that Item 134, a 5MHz bandwidth Solartron CD1016 double beam scope fetched £70. Could there be 88 reasons why it sold well?

It wouldn't surprise me one little bit.... It's a shame, but understandable when 20MHz dual-trace solid-state (OK, not the CRT itself....) 'scopes can be had for beer money that valve 'scopes get viewed as parts donors. I've taken to referring to certain power valves by bingo calls when committing to print in our "nothing is secret from key-trawling" world!

Must admit that had me puzzled at the time too, until now.

It does make sense doesn't it? I looked at Paul's list and zeroed in on the more expensive results - 90% of them were for 'box of valves'. I think those of us who only buy a few valves a year as actual replacements will be paying a lot more in future!
Thanks for the list Paul!
