Yaesu FT200 and others help required with valuation please

Hi, I've just inherited from my dad a load of old radios some ham and some CB, but I've no idea how to price them to sell. Some I know work and some I cannot find bits for so assume they may not work. I have posted a list below.

Yaesu FT200 (no power supply) probably not working
Heathkit SB230 (good chance it works) was in his main setup
Trio TR9130 2m transciever (again part of main setup)
Heathkit RC bridge c-3u (looks almost brand new)
Oscar FM CB radio (might work no microphone)
There is also a 32ft aluminium mast there.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Best to check prices that have been attained on ebay for the same equipment sold as 'spares or repair'.

Just one point worth noting, the Heathkit RC Bridge has an EM34 'magic eye' tuning indicator which will most likely be as good as new as it's unlikely that the bridge will have ben used very much. EM34s fetch eye-watering prices - there are two on sale now as 'new old stock'. One is £69.97, the other is £79.99. Of course, at that price they won't be flying off the shelves.

EM34s as much sought after as they were used in quite a lot of vintage radios and lose their luminescence over time, spoiling the appearance of the set as the eye is a distinctive feature. It might be worth plugging in the Bridge to see if - after a few minutes - the magic eye lights up bright green, as it most likely will. If so, don't let the bridge go for a low price because sad thought it might be, the likelihood is that a prospective buyer will only want it to rob it of the EM34 magic eye. At least £50.00 would be a sensible asking price and a fair to a collector of vintage Heathkit test gear, or you could let it find its level on e-bay.

Hope that helps a bit.

Only check COMPLETED sales on ebay, not live listings, which can be unrepresentative and may never sell.

Hi do you still have the 9130? I may be interested, had one years ago and sold it, regretted it ever since.

I'd be interested in the Oscar CB if it could be posted

I would be interested in the the 32 feet mast, if there was any chance of getting it here.

I sold an FT200 via VMARS earlier this year for £50 with matching PSU. I hadn't switched it on in 25 years but worked well when last used, and that's how I described it.

With no PSU (and I wonder how that got separated from its matching transceiver?) probably £20 to £30 depending on condition.

I think the vendor has vanished as no more posts.

Maybe power supplies are like back covers, very often missing.

The vendor is open to PM's but no E-Mail details are supplied. Try sending a private message. [I always do that as well as posting in the thread anyway]. It's surprising how many people don't check back??? but [sometimes] there is a good reason. It's only five days perhaps but the first response was two hours after posting8-\

If you mean he was on the Form without declaration David, then I would [reluctantly] have to question the overall motivation? I always try to give the benefit of the doubt. Especially re anyone who may be in a difficult personal situation.
