Eveready Sky Lord

3 Attachment(s)
Purchased the Sky Lord from an online site, on arrival the cabinet was very scruffy, back board and battery shelf missing. Managed to source new parts. Many thanks to Duncan Leece for the items. DL62 valve defective, new one supplied by Dereck GOVDV. On testing no life in the set at all but with a lot of help from David G4EBT the set is now working. Main problem appears to be R9 and C23. New battery box constructed with battery paper scans provided by David G4EBT. The cabinet was stripped of its original varnish and re stained, then applied several coats of clear lacquer. All in all a great project, many thanks for the parts and help.

Well done on a successful outcome Tony, especially since the data is rather sparse - just a couple of pages from the R&TV books.

The replica battery looks good, thanks to the scans uploaded by forum members.

Well done Tony it's looking good ,there is one thing you have enough room in the B136 to fit the new batteries , I remember back in the day ,a B136 cost me a weeks wages , Mick.

DL62?

The only reference Google can find is this thread!

Is it DL92? That could work with a rewired base but isn't it supposed to be a DL96?

Well done, Viscount! That looks like an outcome that's taken a lot of effort and you can be well pleased.
