Panasonic NV-G12 VCR - counter D error
 

Hi All,

I found my Dad's old VCR. Tried cleaning and bringing it back to life. It started immediately to my surprise. But throwing Counter error.

When we turn on it starts normally after few seconds, throws counter error. Not sure what to do.

P.S. - I am an amateur in electronics. Looking for some ideas to resolve it.

Hi

The d on the counter means dew sensor detects high humidity enviroment. Normally after few hours with the vcr on the error dissapeared otherwise you have faulty dew sensor.
