Re: Recommended Component Suppliers.
Hi - can anyone recommend 'JPR Electronics' for reliable / genuine semiconductors ?
https://jprelec.co.uk The website etc. all looks good, so I'm just looking for any comments, good or bad, from anyone who's used them in the past. Thanks, Alan |
Re: Recommended Component Suppliers.
They're mentioned here - https://www.diyaudio.com/community/t.../#post-2354070 I searched for "JPR Electronics scam" & "JPR Electronics fake transistors" and only found that one thread. By that reckoning they look kosher.

Re: Recommended Component Suppliers.
I am working on an updated version of that spreadsheet. It may be a month or two before it and the full document are ready to be published but I will do a quick run-through for dead links before posting.

This is an updated version of the Vendors spreadsheet in post #89
New entries are shown in red. I have confirmed that all of the links are still active as discussed earlier. There may be a few links that look to be dead but are not. This article from Microsoft explains the problem and how to fix it. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...c-1c03e238c95e I am not a fan of editing the registry and since the websites URLs are given in the spreadsheet it is only a matter of copying and pasting the URL into your browser. Mods: can you delete the old version and redirect to this post? TIA Al |

For cabinet/casework I have used Screwsline, who are a small business dedicated to proper screws.

Re: Recommended Component Suppliers.
A recommendation for Mirfield Electronics, I just ordered a Tiny SA Ultra (Spectrum Analyser) from them, (a genuine not clone model) good price and next day delivery.
No connection other than happy customer, now playing with it and learning its features amazing unit for price. https://www.mirfield-electronics.co.uk/ https://tinysa.org/wiki/pmwiki.php?n=Main.HomePage |
