My thanks to "terrybull" for the little Pioneer XC-L7 system I picked up today. It's a stylish mini system that sounds pretty good to my ears with a CD playing as I write. It should cheer up the sound from the ghastly speakered holiday cottage compact LCD TV no end when I get a suitable lead!

Cossor 3467 restoration.
This was another family heirloom so I am very pleased to be able to report that we have it up and working. As far as I can tell it dates from 1933. Many thanks to Ed Dinning for rewinding the LF choke for us. Thanks also to Phil G4SPZ for his advice on the smoothing capacitors.
