AVO question
I am selling an Avocado 8 mk3 for a friend but it has no leads. I guess the price normally is around £40, but what is it's rough value without leads?
It is in good working condition, cosmetically good but with no case. |
Re: Avo question
£40 seems a bit steep even with leads.
I've seen them go for around £35 with leads and a case. Don't think I've paid any more than £20 for one myself. |
Re: Avo question
20 or 25 is the price as sinewave said

Re: Avo question
A clean battery compartment helps, i bought one for £30 with a nasty dose of verdigris, that was a bit much. Have you given it a brief MOT on behalf of your friend? That would add a few quid.

Re: Avo question
Thanks guys. I might get it home and MOT it...but there's a limit...

Re: Avo question
Absolutely. Most are offered 'untested' and it doesn't seem to stop them selling as long as the price is in the right ball-park.

Re: Avo question
The seller has just handed me another little gem...an Avo mini. Ive never even seen these before so can't possibly value it. Does anyone have a clue? Its in its case and does have probes.

Re: Avo question
The minor went through several evolutions, which one does he/she have? The earliest DC only version has a 0-60 scaleplate. They don't seem to sell very well; later ones sell a little better if smart looking.

Re: AVO question
I got my Mk3 for 19 quid, with leads and leather case...
But then again, it wasn't an "Avacado" like yours ;D |
Re: AVO question
I just got a MK6 one for £30 from a GPO FB page with a case
