Dial test software for free

1 Attachment(s)
It is obviously not new, but I found it this week, I have tested it and find it suitable for dial testing.

What is the drawback?
1) The text on the buttons are in German so we need to make a short translation picture, but the readings are clear and understandable.

2) you need an RS232 port, (I have an adapter USB-RS232)

To the point: Here is the link: http://uuplds.net/file/a7p53Ixq

Download the link, run the file, and it asks for the serial port, type the number of the port, and Enter (twice), Then adjust EP to at least 2 to not get resonant pulses, then just start measuring.

I have just used pin 9 and 7 and tested the pulse contacts, or complete telephone, and that works so well.

Re: Dial test software for free

In my last life as a backup mtce bloke, I always found ( in the back of beyond in some UAX 5 AREA) that the old crude, but time honoured method of 100 ,1000 and 1 worked well enough to rectify problems. Dials could be speeded up/slowed down by tweeking the governor vanes to get dial to meet this .
