Emer F 253/2

Hi All

Have tried other 19 set groups for this, but no luck can anyone help here?

I am looking for a copy of pages 1003 and 1004 of Emer Tels F 253/2 First Echelon Work, 31 July 1944, containing valve voltage and resistance data.

I printed this document in 2008 but unfortunately the pages 1003 and 1004 are missing.

Thank you in advance.

Have you tried V.M.A.R.S ?

Thanks for the reply.
Yes, quite a few times, Only found the equivalent for the MK III. My copy came from Royal Signals site, but now I can't get access due to inactivity. I sent an email explaining my problem but it hasn't been answered.

That's par for the course for the Royal Signals site.

Here's an idea. Why not just post one post every day for the next two weeks on the WS19 list. It hardly matters what you say. After all, they just seem to want "activity" - even if its mindless. Once you have done that they can hardly complain that you aren't doing what is demanded. Then ask for the manual you want. I suspect they have an automatic algorithm running, so if it sees "posts" - then it will be happy.

Think it’s just moderated to the point where it’s a select group!

We’re very fortunate to have this group of excellent mods and members!

Keep it up.

Well I guess that is a possibility. Still a little surprised no body seems to have a copy within the group. However, I have had success in solving problems but still have an issue of Oscillator pulling, virtually nothing at 2 -3 MHz and 4.5 - 5.5 MHz But above 3 MHz on the low range and 5.5 MHz on the High range the oscillator pulls badly! Found a post from 2012 with the same problem but no real answer to it.

What would we do if we never had a fault!!

Cheers

As a matter of interest what are the Royal Signals archive reference numbers for the documents you are looking for?

I downloaded that document many moons ago, I've just checked and indeed it is missing those two pages, so access to that archive wouldn't help you.

Re: Emer F 253/2

I actually e-mailed them asking that very question do they exist!?
Thanks very much for putting me out of my misery. I have the M III equivalent document which has the missing valve data in it, and gives an idea of the voltages to expect. But of course it would have been nice to have had those missing pages.
