Panasonic NV-R33 VHS-C camcorder help!

I have been given an old Panasonic NV-R33 VHS-C camcorder which was just laying around.

I've got a new battery and tape for it, however I can't figure out how to get the tape in because it doesn't seem to open up properly.

I'm not sure if the cassette compartment is just jammed or if I've opened it incorrectly. Does anyone know how it's meant to open up or have any links to videos because I can't seem to find much about this particular camera.

Does it make any noises like it's trying to open the door?

No, the outer case comes off but the metal bit inside just doesn't budge :/

No, it doesn't seem to have any button to open it, it is actually screwed down

Ok I managed to get it open now! It was just very very jammed! Thank you for your help
