Just a reminder - Sunday 7th April is the BVWS swapmeet at Golborne, just west of Manchester.

If you'd like a stall there are still a few spaces available, contact organiser Mark Ryding to book.
You can download a stallholders booking form via the BVWS website, visitors pay at the door £5 entry.

Doors open at 9.30 (stall holders 9.00). The usual variety of stalls selling vintage Radio, Television, Audio, Communications receivers, Test gear, Valves, Components, Spares, etc. Ample free parking. The BVWS stall will be there selling the usual range of capacitors, Deoxit, etc.

And the kitchen will be open serving drinks and hot and cold butties!

If you have one or two items you'd like to sell, the 'Bring and Buy' stall is where you can sell them at 10% commission or donation to the BVW&TV Museum. (But before you leave, please take any unsold items home, including donated items - we were left with a car load of stuff to dispose of last year..)

The stores are bursting at the seams again, so there'll be a huge variety of bargains overflowing from the BVWS table, everything must go!

If you're not a BVWS member, why not come along for a sample visit? You'll be made most welcome and you can even take the plunge and join on the day if you like what you see! Credit/debit card payments taken at the BVWS stall.

RetrotechUK stall booking forms will be available and received at the BVWS tables.

I'll be there Sunday.

Lots of reasons I like this one - I get to meet up with old friends, meet new ones, come home with new to me things to play with (often way out of my 'Roberts' comfort zone!). Oh, and it only takes me a half hour or so to get there... no 4am set off for this one!

If anyone has any original old Roberts' paraphernalia, anything from paperwork, to advertising, I'd be most keen to meet up.

Anyway, looking forward to it - see you all very soon.

Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to make it to Golborne on Sunday as I don't have a car at present, so I'm afraid someone else will need to run the Bring & Buy stall.

Brought too much back but then sold a set as well so good overall.

Good evening,
I had a pleasant day and all bar one radio which I brought along have all found new homes.

Came home with a range of high precision resistors, some old oscilloscope probes and a few bits of test equipment.

Many thanks to the all of the organisers for a pleasant meet up. I look forward to the next one!!

Thanks to Mike & Jim for bringing a van load of goodies from the stores as usual and to those who helped to unload it and set up...
