Default Rectifier issue

Anyone know what i can put in place of this? It's off a Clarion MA4000F. Black one tests fine, green one testing fine on one half.

Also looking for a few diodes 35V 0.12A the ones that are in the set are 1S1588 only place I can see them online is ebay america @ £10 postage each.

I do not know what a Clarion MA4000F is, presumably these are in the power supply.
They look to be a couple of twin diodes to make a bridge rectifier. If the current requirement is low, you could use four 1N4007 or a bridge rectifier block up to 35A.

You should get what you want for less than £1.

35V requirement i think. I have got 1N4148's would these do for test until I get 1N4007?

Yes it's after the transformer so power supply stuff. Clarion is an amp.

Also got 1N5404.

1N4148 should do for the 1s1588
for the others 1n4007 are 1 amp your 1n5404 are 3 amp what's the current draw ? then pick what suits but if you have room use the 1n5404's

The 1N5404 will do the job, not the 1N4148 diodes.

The 1N5404 has a PIV of 400 volts and an average forward current of 3amps. The 1N4148 are for low power signal or switching circuits.

Frank
Has Fixitnow states the 1N4148 will be fine for the 1S1588

The amp's rated at 40W and the main transformer secondary output is 25.5V 3 amp running straight to the rectifiers.

So just so I get it correct, 1N5404 are OK for the rectifier and the 1N4148 are OK for the 1S1588.

I would think the 1N5404 will be fine but there are higher current bridge rectifiers available if you want some reserve. See how the 1N5404 perform under full load, if they stay cool you will be OK.

OK with the 1N4148 as replacement for the 1N1588, the specs for the 1N4148 are better.
