Emor Globe For Auction In New York!
http://www.christies.com/lotfinder/f...jectid=5910902
I wondered how this found its way from its humble beginnings in Kilburn High Road to New York then noticed on the auction listing it was part of the Allan Stone collection which I'd never heard of but googling soon enlightened me 'Allan Stone Projects is a gallery with an expansive collection of modern masterworks, contemporary art, tribal and folk art, Americana, and important decorative arts and industrial design' Alvin |

Re: Emor Globe For Auction In New York!
Great sets these, I have been fortunate enough to repair two of them. Might be the U.S model as ISTR the ones I worked on were 3 banders(MW/LW/SW).
Not bad performers, and used the American "fab four" valves. It's a while ago now,(but I haven't had any complaints........ )but for those who are interested..... http://www.vintage-radio.com/recent-...mor-globe.html
