Hi,

It contain 3 separate switches connected with BNC cables in between.

Input/Output connectors are ?? (looks like a big TNC)

Thanks

The connectors look like N type. They are almost certainly 75 ohm N type which will be damaged if you try to insert 50 ohm N plugs. The centre pin of the 50 ohm N type is fatter than on the 75 ohm.

I found by random some more info,

there are 2 series of attenuators
7500 series 75 Ohm, 0-1000 MHz, consisting of
7501 attenuator 1 dB 0.1 dB steps
7510 attenuator 10 db 1 dB steps
7535 attenuator 35 db 5 dB steps
7570 attenuator 70 dB 10 dB steps
7580 attenuator 81 dB 0-81 dB

5000 series 50 Ohm, consisting of
5001 see above
5010 "
5035 "
5070 "
5080 "

The 5000 series has BNC connectors for in + out

That connector looks like an SHF Major, 519-9823. The mating part is 519-9812. Both 75 ohms. The NATO stock numbers refer to inter-series connectors, ie only one half of a complete connector.

Hi Peter,
Are these not the so called "F-Connector" http://www.satspeed.com/de/shop/sat-...er-f-connector, they're commonly used in 75 Ohm Video/TV/Cable technik.

Karesz,

it's not a "F"-type, it's a little bit smaller than "N"
